"Seniors for Seniors" Adoption Program
Thank you for visiting our "Seniors for Seniors" adoption program page. We recognize that many of our senior citizens live on fixed incomes and while they love and enjoy owning pets, they often cannot afford anormal adoption fee in addition to the care of a new pet. We feel that pet ownership promotes the health and well-being of people, therefore, we have created a "Seniors for Seniors" adoption program in which the adoption fee of senior dogs is $75 for senior citizens.
BEFORE you complete an applicaton to adopt, you must be willing to commute to the location the dog is being fostered.
Senior Citizens age 70 and over qualify for this program. Certain dogs that are in our rescue program qualify for this special program as well, based on the age of the dog. We will feature new pets eligible for this program each month.
Featured pets that qualify for this program currently are:
Pandora - Dachshund
Pandora is a 9 year old female, Dapple Dachshund. She is a small girl, a miniature. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and healthy and ready for a new home. She would make a great dog for a senior, or someone that loves this breed. She is gentle natured, and a very nice Dachshund girl. Her adoption fee is $75 and also available as a Senior for Senior pet.
