Purebred Rescue Organization of Ohio,Inc.

Purebred Rescue Organization of Ohio, Inc. is a federal non-profit organization as described in section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue code, making all of your donations tax deductible. Our organization is comprised of Volunteers who are dedicated to the rescue and placement of unwanted or abandoned canines into permanent homes. These volunteers receive no payment for their efforts, only the personal satisfaction and sense of accomplishment they feel when placing a rescued purebred into a loving forever home.

Our rescue representatives, Foster Homes, and other volunteers are accepted after a thorough interview and home visit. Each receives training on proper placement procedures and the care of the rescued dogs. The PRO team is comprised of people with various levels of expertise. We are always looking for more caring volunteers to join the PRO team. If you would like to learn more about joining the PRO team please fill out a foster application and a representative will contact you.

Temporary Help Needed!!!

We need temporary foster homes that can assist with picking up dogs, getting them to the vet, and hold for one to two nights if necessary. We primarily need help in the Dayton, Columbus and Cincinnati areas. If you or anyone else you know could help, please contact us.
