PUREBRED RESCUE ORGANIZATION OF OHIO, INC. "PRO"adopts dogs to loving individuals and families on an adoption contract after they finish rehabilitation in the cell dog program. If you are interested in meeting or adopting a particular dog, you must first complete an online application to adopt. Each dog does require an adoption fee to adopt. In 2008, our average cost per dog was $295 for veterinary care, dog food expense, heartworm and flea/tick prevention, collars and leashes.

All of our dogs are fed Nature’s Select brand dog food. This premium dog food is manufactured in the United States, is safe and healthy and has no Corn and no Wheat. This Super Premium Pet Product is available via delivery only through select distributor’s of Nature’s Select. In the Cincinnati/Dayton area, please call 937-374-1636 to place your order. Lilo is a 20 pounds 2-3 year old Scottie girl that may have some Cairn terrier thrown in there. She is a beautiful blackish brindle color with white on her face and chest. Lilo is your typical Scottie girl and is in our celldog training program. She is very loving but can be a tad bit on the stubborn side. She will play with other dogs but wants to be the boss. She is learning her basic commands pretty good and loves to be praised. Lilo is spayed, up to date on her shots and heartworm negative. Her adoption fee is $250.

Austin is a 2yr old Boxer boy that we believe is deaf. He is in the celldog training program learning hand signals and is very sweet. He loves to play, does fine with other dogs and is a very well rounded boy. Austins adoption fee is $250. He is neutered, up to date on his shots and heartworm negative.
Bette is a very petite little girl. She only weighs 10 pounds and she is 1 1/2 yrs old. She is all puppy and high energy - she loves to play with toys and fetch. She is wonderful with children, cats, and other dogs. Bette was born deaf, and lost an eye in an accident. You would never know she has any impairments because she is so active and gets around with ease. She is also housebroken and crate trained.
Bette knows basic hand commands and responds to those because she cannot hear. She would be best suited in a home environment where she is not left alone for long periods of time - children would be an asset because she loves them. Bette needs to placed with another active canine companion who likes to play - a fenced in yard is required. She likes riding in the car and playing with other dogs at the dog park. Bette is being fostered in the Dayton area and her adoption fee is $250.

Claire is a 2 year old American Bulldog. Claire is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and currently in the cell dog program. Claire is a very beautiful girl. She will not be placed in a home with other pets, due to her breed. Claire loves people and is very playful and puppy like as you can see from her pictures. Claire's adoption fee is $250.
Ellie is a 3 year old female Weimaraner. She loves other dogs and is not aggressive. She is submissive and can be a little shy in new situations. She is a very laid back Weimaraner, although like your typical Weim does have separation anxiety. She is looking for a Weim savvy home to call her forever home! She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and currently in the cell dog program. Her adoption fee is $250.
Ozzie is a dapple doxie that was just rescued from a local hoarding case. He weighs about 12 pounds. He loves tennis balls and nyla bones. He is timid with other dogs at first but warms up after a day and loves to play. He likes to go for walks and is good on the leash. He should be walked to relieve himself as he is not housebroken but does understand a walk is when you get to pee. He love to CUDDLE. He is a lap dog and wants to be on your lap or at least beside you when you sit down. He gives kisses and is very affectionate. He only needs a day to make you HIS PERSON. He is very Velcro and follows you around the house. He is praise not food motivated and should be pretty easy to train. He is of course crate trained. Sammie is a fun-loving adorable Cairn Terrier mix. He is energetic and playful and likes to travel with his family to outings, outdoor events, camping, you name it! Sammie is crate trained, neutered, knows sit, down, stay, come, and is good with other dogs. He is looking for a family with kids ages 10 and up. His adoption fee is $150 and he is currently in the cell dog program.
Bella is 4 years old, female Great Dane. She is a very smart, obedient girl. She is very gentle, loves other dogs and loves kids. She knows basic commands, is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. If you are interested in adopting Bella, she would make a great addition to any family, with or without children, with any size dogs as she loves them all!
Winnie is a sweet girl that 3-4 yrs old and weighs about 18 pounds. She came from a hoarding situation and lived in pretty bad conditions. She is now in our celldog training program and loving life. She has done fine with the other dogs and has earned the nickname "Winnie the Ewok". We have no clue what she is mixed with but she is adorable. She has wire hair and a cute little mustache. Winnie is spayed, up to date on her shots and heartworm negative. Her adoption fee is $250.

Blossom is a sweet Puggie girl that we rescued from horrible conditions. We think she is around 4 or 5 years old. This poor girl had been bred over and over and had multiple c-sections that left her little body with massive internal scars. Her skin has obvious sun damage from where she lived outside for most of her life. She had been so flea infestd for so long she had hair loss. But oh how sweet and happy this little girl is. She just cuddles up and gives such sweet, tiny kisses and amazingly is housbroke already. Blossom loves other dogs and she has the cutest cream colored eyelashes I have ever seen on a Pug. Blossom will never have to suffer the heat and bad conditions again. She has been spayed and is up to date on her shots. She is also heartworm negative. Blossom is being fostered in Dayton, Ohio and her adoption fee is $250.

There are Pomeranians, Dachshunds, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Chihuahua's, and King Charles Spaniel mixes. There is a wire haired doxie, a dapple and a black and tan. There are numerous beautiful Poms, most of them very small, some blonde, a black and white, red, you name it!! There are 2 purebred Cavalier's . . . help needed!
They were flea infested but have been capstarred-- but some have hair loss, they lived in horrible conditions, but they are all very social and outgoing and love people.
Choco is a 2yr old English Springer Spaniel boy that weighs 41 pounds. He is a very sweet, nice boy that came to us when his family no longer wanted him.
