PUREBRED RESCUE ORGANIZATION OF OHIO, INC. "PRO"adopts dogs to loving individuals and families on an adoption contract after they finish rehabilitation in the cell dog program. If you are interested in meeting or adopting a particular dog, you must first complete an online application to adopt. Each dog does require an adoption fee to adopt. In 2008, our average cost per dog was $295 for veterinary care, dog food expense, heartworm and flea/tick prevention, collars and leashes.
Cocoa is a friendly little chocolate Shar Pei girl. She is now 18 months old, is spayed, had entropian surgery for her eyes and is currently in the cell dog program. Cocoa is good with other dogs, friendly with people and doing great in the program. If you are interested in adopting Cocoa, her adoption fee is $250.

Oakley - Boston Terrier Mix
Oakley is an 18 month old little boy who loves to run and play. He enjoys long walks, tug of war, and playing fetch with a tennis ball. Oakley weighs in between 15 - 20 pounds and is in foster care in the Dayton area. He is alert, well mannered, knows all basic commands, and enjoys being around other dogs. Although he gets nervous around a lot of small children, he loves people and warms up quickly. Oakley is neutered and up to date on his shots. Tyson is a big, pretty boy! He is good with other dogs, and is currently in training in the cell dog program. He is a beautiful mahogany fawn boy. Tyson is learning basic manners and obedience in the cell program and will be ready to go home by the middle of June. He came from a home where he was an indoor dog and he lived with other dogs and children. His adoption fee is $250, he is neutered and up to date on vaccinations.
Mandy is a pretty little female Rat Terrier. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and has completed training in the cell dog program. Mandy is good with other dogs, a little nervous around new people, but once she gets to know you follows you everwhere! Mandy is a typical, young, Rat Terrier looking for a new home. If you are interested in adopting Mandy, her adoption fee is $200.
Sammy is a year and a half old Puggle. She is spayed and up to date on vaccines. She is good with other dogs but we don't know how she is with cats. She is small, weighs about 11-13 pounds. Sammy is currently in the cell dog program learning her manners. He adoption fee is $250.
Reba is a very special dog with a sad background looking for a home with kind owners. Reba is good with other dogs and children. She is timid in new situations and fearful of some men, but once in a home where she knows everyone, she is a happy girl! Reba knows some basic commands, is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. Reba is looking for a pet quality home where she can be someone's companion who will appreciate her gentle spirit and love her unconditionally. Lilly - Snoodle
Lilly is about a 20 pound poodle/schnauzer (snoodle mix) looking for the right home. She is spayed and up to date on her vaccines. Lilly is a beautiful shade of peach and probably doesn't shed. She is very sweet and does well riding in the car. Lilly is in the cell dog program learning her commands and to be crate trained. Her adoption fee is $250.
Charley
Charley is a very good boy! He is 4 years old and mostly collie. Charley is a great house dog, has always had a good home, is good with other dogs, kids, and is housebroken. He is energetic and would make a great companion for another dog to play with, he would make a great pet therapy dog, knows all of his basic commands. Charley does not like to be crated, but is fine loose in the house while you are away. He is in the cell dog program. His adoption fee is $250.
Remmie is a fawn pug neutered boy waiting for his new home. He was surrendered by his family and is looking for his forever home. He is a great dog - curious, optimistic and obedient. Remmie is just a happy little guy. He walks well on the leash and wants to follow his master everywhere. He likes to sleep under the covers right beside you. He is being fostered in Beavercreek OH. Remmie is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and his adoption fee is $250.
Aspin has started his new life after being rescued from a shelter and living his life outside. He is only 3 years old needs some time to improve his condition and eat some regular meals. He should blossom into a beautiful collie during his stay in the cell dog program with a lot of tender loving care. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines and heartworm negative. Aspin is looking for his next home to keep him as an indoor dog and give him lots of attention he deserved. His adoption fee is $250.
Harley was surrendered by his owner due to financial and economic reasons. He is 5 years old and cute as he can be. Always well cared for, Harley is a nice boy that will be happy to have a new, permanent home again. Harley is neutered, up to date on vaccines and currently in the cell dog program. Priscilla is the most loving and affectionate girl. She was surrendered as a former farm dog that took care of the Alpaca's. She didn't really do a good job taking care of the Alpaca's, and would rather go visit people and other dogs for company. We found out quickly that Priscilla is a people dog, and loves to be at your side. She is a beautiful girl, and is currently in the cell dog program. She is spayed and up to date on vaccinations and her adoption fee is $250.
Sassy was an owner surrender due to the family move. She is a flasy fawn Boxer girl, very nice, calm and laid back, loving and easy going. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and currently in the cell dog program. Sassy's adoption fee is $250.
Holly is a 1 year old female Lab. She is a big, pretty girl and is currently in the cell dog program. Holly is good with other dogs, likes people and is very social. Maddix is a brindle Boxer pup. He is friendly, happy, good with other dogs, and currently in the cell dog program. Maddix is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and has always had a good home.
