PUREBRED RESCUE ORGANIZATION OF OHIO, INC. "PRO"adopts dogs to loving individuals and families on an adoption contract after they finish rehabilitation in the cell dog program. If you are interested in meeting or adopting a particular dog, you must first complete an online application to adopt. Each dog does require an adoption fee to adopt. In 2008, our average cost per dog was $295 for veterinary care, dog food expense, heartworm and flea/tick prevention, collars and leashes.

BEFORE you complete an applicaton to adopt, you must be willing to commute to the location the dog is being fostered.
All of our dogs are fed Nature’s Select brand dog food. This premium dog food is manufactured in the United States, is safe and healthy and has no Corn and no Wheat. This Super Premium Pet Product is available via delivery only through select distributor’s of Nature’s Select. In the Cincinnati/Dayton area, please call 937-374-1636 to place your order. Ollie is an 11 month old Blue Weim boy that just came into rescue. He is currently in the cell dog program and doing great. He is your typical active Weim boy and loves to play. His adoption fee is $250, he is neutered and up to date on his shots.
Spike is a very cute little guy looking for a new home. He seems to bond quickly to one owner and would not fit well into a home with small children. Spike loves to sit on your lap! He would make a great pet for an older person or someone who spends alot of time at home. Spike would do best as the only dog in the home. His adoption fee is $250.
Ava - Boxer
Ava is 7-8 months old and is in the cell dog program. She is a purebred Boxer, and she is brindle. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and looking for an experienced home. Ava is very determined and likes a challenge. She needs an owner who is disciplined and can be firm with her training so she can develop into a nice adult Boxer girl. If you are interested in adopting Ava, her adoption fee is $250.
Annabelle, or Annie is a purebred female Labrador Retriever. She is currently in the cell dog program. Her birthdate is 11/14/2007 and she is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. Annie is nervous in new situations, but is doing better each day in the cell dog program. Her adoption fee is $250. She is good with other male dogs and people. Annie will do well in a quiet home environment.

Jack - Beagle mix
Jack: Beagle mix. Jack was left in a house when the people moved. He is currently in our cell dog training program. His temperment is very good. Jack is learning his commands in prison and is doing great. Jack is a mover and a shaker! He likes to move and think fast! He loves people, loves treats and will do anything for them. He can also do some neat tricks. If you are interested in adopting Jack, his adoption fee is $250.
Kipper - Dachshund (black and tan)
Kipper, along with Quigley and Louie were surrendered to an area dog pound. Kipper is now neutered, up to date on vaccinations and enjoying his training in the cell dog program. He is learning quickly and is treat motivated! He is being crate trained and socializing with the other dogs and people in the institution. He likes other small dogs, while currently the big dogs scare him! His adoption fee is $150.
Clyde is one smart pup! He would be an awesome agility dog, service dog, therapy dog, or obedience trial dog! He is great with other dogs and everyone that he meets. Clyde is obedient and well-mannered. Clyde knows a lot of commands including sit, down, stay come, bump, touch, stand, back. He is working on take, tug and give. Clyde is looking for an active home that can challenge his intellect and appreciate what a gifted pup he is. His adoption fee is $250, he is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and ready for his new home!
Louie was surrendered to an area dog pound. Louie weighs about 10 pounds. Louie is now neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations and currently in the cell dog program. His adoption fee is $150.

Indy is a lucky little girl. She might be 100% Basset Hound as her long body, short legs and long face and eyes would tell you. But she might be a mix, we just do not know. Indy was found in Indiana with a broken pelvis. With no other options other being destroyed, a good samaritan came to her rescue and paid for her veterinary expense and she was then nursed back to health. If you meet Indy today, you would never know that she had an injury. She runs and plays and wrestles. She is a very sweet and cute girl! She is now spayed, too and in the cell dog program learning the basics. If you are interested in adopting Indy, her adoption fee is $250.
Artie was rescued from an animal shelter after he was found as a stray and unclaimed. He is believed to be about 2 years old. He is now neutered and up to date on vaccinations. He is cute as can be and weighs about 10 pounds. He is a petite little guy. Artie has a great temperament, and is good with other dogs and everyone he meets. Artie is sociable and happy! Artie is currently in the cell dog program learning some basic manners and socializing with the other dogs and people. His adoption fee is $300

Dillon - Westie
Dillon is around 3yrs old, neutered and up to date on his shots. Dillon is good with other dogs, although a typical terrier who has to have the last word in! Dillon loves to chase squirrels and rabbits and anything that comes into the yard. He is currently in our celldog training program. His adoption fee is $300.00.

Satch is a 3 year old Standard Poodle DOB 09/01/2006. He is jet black and weighs about 50 pounds. He came to us at a mere 39 pounds and was skin and bones. He lived outdoors on a farm until he came to us. Satch is extremely outgoing, loves everyone he meets, likes to bounce around and greet you. He is personality plus and will make a great companion for someone. Currently, Satch is particular about what dogs he likes and what dogs he does not. He is finally at a healthy enough weight to neuter him, so that may make a difference in the future. Satch's adoption fee is $300. Claire - American Bulldog
2 year old American Bulldog. Claire is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and currently in the cell dog program. Claire is a very beautiful girl. She will not be placed in a home with other pets, due to her breed. Claire loves people and is very playful and puppy like as you can see from her pictures. Claire's adoption fee is $300.

Quigley is now neutered and up to date on vaccinations and currently in the cell dog program. Quigley is very friendly with people and other small dogs, while the bigger dogs scare him. He loves playing with plush toys and rubber balls. Quigley is a very loveable pet and loves to be with his people!! His adoption fee is $150.
